Hotfix 1.4.1 – 27 Sept 2024
- Fixes for two complex crashes showing up in logs
Update 1.4 New Content
- Added a brand new Horde mode featuring three new arenas.
- Added leaderboards and results screens for both Horde Mode and Campaign
- Added new subtitle languages: Korean and Simplified Chinese

- Fixed a rare bug where progress is not saved correctly when playing for the first time

- Added interactive/throwable/destructible objects across the campaign
- Added several VR-focused sections to the campaign, including a new grapple leash mechanic
- Enabled the energy leash to pull weapons and ammo towards you
- Added five brand new skillshots – Stylin’ And Profilin’, Double Trouble, The Ol’ Switcharoo, Not a Clown but the Whole Circus, and Harder Daddy
- Improved weapon reloading and added physically activated charged shots in ‘immersive reloading’ mode

Optimization & Quality of Life Improvements
- Added an option for adjustable body slots to alter the grab points for hip and shoulder slots to improve accessibility and comfort
- Adjusted weapons recoil
- Expanded button mapping options and the ability to switch the movement of the thumbstick
- Added the option to choose whether ammo is auto-picked up when walking over it
AI
- Improved enemy AI and targeting
- Added smoother animations blend to NPC’s, Ishi, Trishka, and Sarrano
- Added physical interactions with NPC and characters with bespoke reactions on Trishka, Ishi, and Sarrano for inappropriate touching
Sound/Music
- Updating enemy footstep SFX

- Fixed blockers on the Last train from the explosion town (1-2) level, where the player stays on the wrong side of the hangar door and kills all enemies with the Boneduster weapon, can halt progression.
- Fixed a progression blocker on I don’t hold you accountable (5-2) level.
- Fixed the cutscene at the end of Act 3, where it sometimes didn’t appear.
- Fixed a blocker in the prologue where leashing the second obstacle before the encounter will halt progression.

- Fixed a blocker on the On the road to hell (0-4) level, where getting in Whit “Doc” Oliver’s face when he’s meant to be “typing” will break his animation and halt progress.
- Added new idle animations for companions while out of combat.
- Fixed the Heavy Echo’s model, where the torso had the model swapped for one from an Echo Guard.
Sound/Music
- Added missing sound effects to Newsbots, Explosive barrels, and Elevator doors.
- Made improvements to sound volumes.
- Fixed several overlapping dialogues.
Known issues
- Options incorrectly being applied from one menu when applying changes are entered on a different menu.
- Skillshot/Achievement/Trophy Pest Control can’t currently be achieved.

- Fixed a soft lock if the Oculus menu is opened when the pause menu is not meant to be available in-game.
- Fixed a common crash caused by repeated reloads with the Headhunter.
