Troubleshooting

I have an unlisted issue playing on Steam

  • SteamVR is required to properly play Bulletstorm VR on PC, whether you’re on a Valve Index or a Oculus Quest. Please ensure this is installed and running before playing the game
  • Depending on your hardware, you may need to ‘reset view’ in SteamVR once the game has launched by pressing the menu button and selecting reset view in the SteamVR interface

I have a black screen on PCVR

Virtual Desktop does not have official support currently – which can often result in a black screen. If you are not using Virtual Desktop:

  • Valve Index – Ensure SteamVR is the default runtime in the SteamVR app.
  • Quest Cable/Air Link – Ensure Oculus is the default runtime in the Oculus desktop app

I’m stuck on loading screens

We have identified a visual issue where the ‘press to continue’ does not appear after a new level has loaded. Please press the default confirm button on the controller to progress
